Our lawyers dedicate a tremendous amount of time outside the firm to a variety of causes. Within our community and neighborhoods, our staff commits hundreds of hours annually to pro bono service and volunteerism. Throughout the city, we are involved in causes such as youth leadership programs, immigrant justice projects, and religious, military and educational organizations.
Within our field, we give our time to causes related to the legal system and public policy, having worked with the Memphis Area Legal Services Consortium, the National Innocence Project, the Federal Court Criminal Justice Act Panel and several of the Western District of Tennessee's committees to the Court. We customarily rise to leadership roles in the Memphis Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division and go on to serve on the boards of the Memphis, Tennessee and American Bar Associations, as well as the International Association of Defense Counsel.
We are board members, board trustees, chairpersons, volunteers, and carpool drivers. But most of all we are Memphians, proud of our community and committed to making it a better place.
